Elise holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, as well as an Executive Master in Management and Business from London Business School. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning R&D, Medical Affairs, Industrial Affairs, Strategy and Enterprise Risk Management. Most recently, she served as Global R&D Head of Risk and Sustainability at Sanofi.
Throughout her career, Elise has brought teams together around complex initiatives in portfolio management, governance and organisational transformation. At Besins Healthcare, she will build on the work initiated by Sophie to strengthen EPMO and establish the department as a strategic organ for the Group.
Her role will be to ensure that projects in place reflect the Group’s priorities, that departments keep working together towards shared objectives, and that teams are focusing their attention and time on projects bringing the highest value to the Group. As the EPMO evolves, its focus on portfolio management and governance will provide the shared direction and visibility needed to achieve this.
